One of my biggest goals with this site is to show accurate, up-to-date conditions of the Ridge Route. With recent rain and even more rain this coming week, here’s a spot to keep an eye on.
I would not recommend driving through this part (map below) if you do not have a vehicle with good ground clearance. As the rain comes through this week, it is suggested to steer clear of the more delicate sections of the road.
It looks like the road is faring well as the road surface is below the dirt surface. Dirt has been washed on to the road, creating a very bumpy drive over that section.
